Well, ladies, I did make the "Jeff Davis" pie I wrote about a few posts ago. I thought it was very good, just like Mom used to make, but was a little runny. I did find some other recipes posted for the same pie & they called for 4 Tablespoons of flour, instead of 2. So, they next time I make it I think I'll add a little more flour & see if that helps! It is a lot like a sugar cream pie. It was just my luck that I didn't have enough eggs in the frig to make meringue to top it off. And to my dismay I was even out of Cool Whip! We found out that vanilla ice cream complimented it just fine.
I do believe that I ate more than my share!
